• Crochet Hook – Size 3.00mm or 3.50mm
• Wool or Cotton Yarn 8ply in Brown/Grey, Black & White
• Hobby Fill
• Tapestry Needle
• Scissors

Body

Starting with Brown/Grey Yarn

Create a Slip Knot and CH 2

Round 1 – 5 SC into the 2nd CH from the hook and pull tight, continue to crochet in rounds (5ST)

Round 2 – 2 SC into every stitch around (10ST)

Round 3 – 2 SC into the first stitch, 1 SC into the next stitch, repeat around (15ST)

At this point I take the tail from the start and weave it in and trim

Round 4 to Round 6 (3 rounds in total) – SC into every stitch around (15ST)

Round 7 – SC DEC, SC in the next stitch, repeat around (10ST)

Round 8 – Round 10 (3 rounds in total) – SC into every stitch around (10ST)

FO leaving a tail for attaching the body to the head of the Kangaroo
